Concept Art Character - Trisha - DELTA

Delta is a 4 month student project. It's a contemplative exploration game about Trisha, a priestess from a nomadic tribe, who manage to reach the world of her Gods. At first amazed, she realizes soon enough that this world is not what she expected. Lost and alone, her only chance is to go forward.

The idea of Delta was to explore a world unwelcoming for a character, combining giant monolithic places, huge brutalist inspired structures, non Euclidian spaces, distortion of space and time, etc... We wanted to question the faith of the character being at the same time close to her Gods but also realizing the insignificance of mankind for them.

Trisha is a hight priestress from a nomadic tribe. She belong to the superior caste as she is one the few that received a ceremonial religious education. Despite her rank, she still has to ride, hunt, run, etc... so I went for a set of clothing mixing comfort and religion. Like most clan women, Trisha is proud and independent. I was heavily inspired by japanese traditional piece of clothing like the morokode, the tasuki or the kimono. But I also used many different references such as Nordic clothing, tribal war paint, sails sewing patterns, ancient Greece inspirations, military uniforms, modern tech wear and many more.
